This 3 dimensional illusionistic piece is 1/4” resin and oil with Samish salmon sporting the Asarco smelting plant logo in the belly(where lead collects in the lining of fish). For 68 years heavy metals pollution diminished the largest salmon run in North America. A crab with barnacles is considered “dirty” or dying in the industry.
